Part of Cue the Accountant's mission is to be involved in the community through service efforts. Every quarter, we volunteer at an organization that is focused on either hunger or children. This month, we put together a team of accountants, and the veritable Jack Riebel, Chef and Owner of The Lexington in St. Paul, and decided to make a meal for Ronald McDonald House on the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis campus.

Together, we made a fantastic dinner to share with the 48 families who are currently residing at RHMC, and in the process got to spend some time together as a team! The team participated in several ways for this venture:
Kristy is in charge of volunteer coordination on our team, and found this great non-profit for us. We planned the menu at our of our monthly company lunches. Then, we realized this was a giant undertaking, and enlisted the help of Jack Riebel, and really we could not have made this happen without him! Jack found recipes and prepped the food, and Desiree brought to-go supplies, in case any families wanted to take their food back to their rooms. Joan and Kristy planned, purchased and prepared desserts, and Beth and Susan cooked their hearts out. It was a lot of work, and it was a great way for our team to bond and help the community at the same time!
Super proud of our team, and the willingness of great clients like Jack to help out for the cause.
